    Sr Manager - Network Security Platform

    Job Family Descriptor:
    Create medium longterm optimal cost-effective scalable network capacity plans and provide innovative solutions for managing capacity requirements
    Identify future backbone network requirements to meet requirements for all lines of businesses and recommend on-net upgrade capex off-net opex leasing models
    Discuss business forecasts and requirements, monitor capacity utilization, and plan and manage upgradation and augmentation of network capacity
    Develop the long-term access strategy to identify possible expansion markets, access channels, potential partners
    Establish contact with partners, discuss requirements, assess partner capability, and negotiate pricing and SLAs
    Identify onboard access suppliers/partners for last-mile connectivity and manage external supplier relationships
    Lead and monitor all off-net access order deliveries through various available suppliers to ensure timely and appropriate delivery
    Assess the feasibility of the solution offered to the customer in collaboration with Sales and PreSales teams
    Support the bid management team by providing input for the own area
    Conduct site visits for the identification, evaluation, assessment of field conditions in order to evaluate the feasibility of installation project and specified design or business generation parameters
    Plan and coordinate site preparation for readiness related to the ramp-up of resources and infrastructure
    Conduct installation in case of standard and intermediate projects or monitor installation by vendor for complex projects


    Broad outline of the Role:


    Responsible for planning, designing, developing, and enhancing engineering solutions and services riding on network layers such as CDN, Enterprise, Ethernet, IP, Wireless, Mobile Broadband, etc., with the objective of providing efficient, secure, cost-effective, and differentiated services and solutions to the customers in the respective areas of Network/SDWAN/Cloud and security/Unified Collaboration/Mobility and IoT.

    Own the process on different stages such as concept, design, testing, and implementation that will improve the performance and reliability of systems.

    This is a tactical role that contributes to defining the direction of the operating plans based on the business strategy, with a significant mid-term impact on business unit overall results.

    Minimum qualification & experience:
    Technical/Engineering degree with 7-12 years of relevant experience

    Other knowledge/skills:
    Experience in planning, designing, and implementing Network systems and engineering operations
    Experience and understanding of service provider and enterprise network operations
    Knowledge of new and upcoming network system, application, and technologies
    Knowledge of network security and its applications
    Experience of network and cloud Infrastructure (Compute, Storage, backup, network, security) and application architecture and deployment
    Exposure to Network Monitoring tools


    Key Responsibilities:
    Identify key engineering initiatives based on customer requirements, new applications and services and assess the technical/infrastructure feasibility with the products team
    Product evaluation, solution architecture designing and testing and roll out plan for existing and new services, including the design of tools needed for the operation of these new services and systems
    Gather requirements, prepare architecture design, conduct technical and cost feasibility study, implement, and resolve issues to meet timelines and customer requirements
    Responsible for developing, designing, and maintaining all systems including storage, load balancers, servers, and routers/switches
    Develop tools to proactively monitor the system aspects such as utilization of backbone, alerts taking place, etc.
    Support presales in solutioning, support service delivery, and ongoing monitoring and maintenance
    Define the work process flow between different functions for new implementations, existing support, and tracking
    Define parameters, guidelines with respect to tracking, data management for NOC team
    Evaluate and validate new technologies to improve customer satisfaction
    Review escalations to support the service assurance during service and system issues
    Define the resolution mechanism to prevent the recurrence of escalations
    Evaluate vendors for outsourcing requirements
    Engage with regulatory bodies to monitor and discuss compliances and requirements for existing and new services
    Review utilization and capacity trends along with sales forecast and evaluate and plan infrastructure augmentation projects
    Lead optimization and efficiency projects
