The Opportunity

The Ops Center role is a crucial part of our organization and is at an exciting time for OpenText as we seek to scale and optimize our internal and external processes, transforming and delivering a customer experience that delights across all touch points.

This requires ability to work in 24/7 shifts on rotational basis including on weekends and holidays.

You are great at

Evaluate systems components, systems software, networking infrastructure, and hardware peripherals for availability, reliability, and performance.
You will triage and resolve systems and network issues reported by both internal and external proactive monitoring systems. Analyze systems for performance, throughput, and high availability.
Notify internal and external customers of planned and unplanned interruptions to the system's operation.
Contribute to the knowledge base through process development and improvement.
An advocate for change where it delivers greater customer centricity and customer outcomes.

What it takes

Well versed (3+ Yrs. experience) with working on Windows or Linux Operating System (SUSE Linux or Red Hat)
Worked on basic laptop and computer hardware and network support.
Exposure to work on Virtual Machines/VMWare and Cloud Ops
Exposure of Active Directory and Exchange mailbox for end user support needs.
Exposure to working on Service now or OpenText Service Automation Tool (SMAX)
Exposure to ITIL process including Incident Management, Service Requests and Change Management.
Nice to have any of the following Certifications.
Certifications in any one or more of the following
Microsoft Certifications
Cisco Certified Network Engineer
Google Cloud Certified Associate or AWS Cloud Certified Practitioner or Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Engineer
