    Responsibilities

  • New Hire Onboarding:
  • Be the point person for all new hires and provide support during their onboarding period. Ensure a standardized, dynamic, and excellent new hire experience.
  • Organize the new hire as a weekly cohort to go through all onboarding programs and training together: facilitate a live 'watch party' and collect unanswered questions for the North American team to follow up on.
  • Troubleshoot live for access to tooling or explain the process to get access.
  • Coordinate with India hub's managers and buddies on all onboarding buddy program's processes and set expectations on what good looks like.
  • Suggest program improvements and look for ways to streamline and automate, enabling the programs to scale.
  • Course Development/ Instructional Design:
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify learning gaps and training needs.
  • Design and develop engaging and interactive content for e-learning courses, workshops, and training materials using various instructional design methodologies and tools.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of course content, incorporating best practices and industry standards.
  • Ongoing Learning Initiatives:
  • Develop and implement ongoing learning initiatives to support employee post- onboarding period.
  • Utilize a variety of learning modalities, including instructor-led training, e-learning, virtual classrooms, and blended learning approaches to cater to diverse learning styles and preferences.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback mechanisms, assessments, and metrics, making continuous improvements as needed.
  • Foster a culture of learning by promoting participation in training opportunities and encouraging knowledge sharing among employees.
  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in instructional design/ training development and delivery, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Proven experience in Designing, developing, and maintaining engaging and effective virtual classroom, online, and self-paced training content using proven instructional design methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning technologies.
  • Sufficient technical background to engage credibly in conversations with software engineers, engineering managers, and other product roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate learners at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), e-learning authoring tools (specifically Articulate Rise), and other learning technologies.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Highly organized and passionate about applying structure to chaos.
  • Expert facilitator and communicator (likes to bring people together).
  • Passionate about supporting the success of new team members.
