Description

This role is required to improve operational efficiency based on S & OP Plan, Material Balance, Process Improvement, Energy conservation, Trouble Shooting, Proces Design.

Authorized to decide on

1) Improvement in operational efficiency and cost saving of Alcohol plant in consultation and agreement with Plant Head and Certified Technology Specialist (CTS)

2) Changes in Production plan in consultation with Planning Team

3) RM (Reference Materials) quality and its requirement

4) Modification in Work Instructions and documentation.

5) Various Audits and audit point closure (w.r.t. ISO 9001/
14001/18001
, Safety audit, RSPO, etc) in Alcohol Plant.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

Ensuring optimal capacity utilization.
Operations MIS - Ensure timely availability of Operations MIS. (yields, sp. Consumption, costing, etc)
Measure, monitor and control various operating parameters, prepare structures and action plan to improve operations efficiency
On time Alcohol FG availability for dispatches.
To decide on RM quality and composition.
Inventory Reduction of slow moving / non moving products like Intermediates, etc
To prepare Quarterly Report for Excise and also, 12/12 clause report for Duty drawback
Participation in discussion on product and process with various visitors like customers and bankers.
Utilize effectively the assets, Technology and investment by meeting the ABP Targets.

KPI's

To ensure timely and accurate MIS data related to production
To study all production related aspects and introduce improvisations in relation to various parameters
To ensure that the team's training needs are met & to boost the morale of the team
Effective coordiantion between Projects, R&D, Production

Skills and Key Requirements

Sound in process engineering
Proven ability to build, sustain, and influence relationships, at all levels of the organization
Strategic Thinking and indepth knowledge of Plant, DCS and production management
Should be able to take corrective actions to achieve desired results
Strong skills in MS Excel & SAP
Ability to identify scope for improvements & to generate new ideas
Deep data analysis, planning and forecasting skills
