    Description

    The opportunity

    We're seeking Managers with expertise in M&A life cycle, carve-out/integration of a business post-transaction announcement, cross-border M&A. This is a great chance to join a top firm, grow your career through diverse engagements, mentoring, and continuous learning.

    Your key responsibilities

    • Demonstrate excellent project execution skills, including synergy assessment, costing, project management, and problem-solving
    • Conduct thorough industry, sector, and deal analysis to pinpoint the right portfolio mix and opportunities
    • Support carve-out/integration plan execution, proactively identifying areas for enhancement and resolving integration issues
    • Create detailed work products documenting engagement procedures against objectives
    • Manage client engagement teams for TSE services, aiding key decision makers in their transaction strategy for deal value
    • Develop relationships with EY offices globally, showcasing regional practices knowledge, ensuring high GDS user satisfaction
    • Assist in business development activities, preparing presentations for clients and internal meetings
    • Offer guidance on projects, mentor TSE professionals, conduct performance reviews, and provide effective feedback and training
    • Identify business development opportunities, support Partners and Senior Managers on proposals

    Skills and attributes for success

    Understanding M&A life cycle, carve-out/integration post-transaction, cross-border M&A

    Experience in financial analysis across pre- and post-deal transactions, linking operational analysis to financial statements

    • Prepare in-depth sector and company decks following the EY Capital Agenda approach
    • Ability to analyze risks and identify opportunities
    • Synthesize solutions for complex carve-out and integration conflicts
    • Adapt easily to new challenges and concepts
    • Strong problem-solving, project management, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    To qualify for the role, you must have

    • Post-Graduate degree in business, accounting, finance, engineering, computer science, or related field from a leading institute with 10-12 years of relevant industry or consulting experience
    • Techno-functional professional with hands-on experience in Finance & Accounting domain, ERP/BI systems used for financial analysis, transaction, and transformation engagements

    Ideally, you'll also have

    • Project management skills
    • Strong communication and presentation abilities
