Job Title:
IT Asset Coordinator

Track Usage of IT Assets:
An asset's usage can be tracked by deploying IT asset management software. (Knowledge of IT Asset Management tool)

Manage Software Licenses and Warranties

List of Hardware/Software Licence

Excel Knowledge - Advance level

Responsibilities:

Asset Acquisition and Deployment:
Coordinate with vendors to procure hardware and software assets based on organizational needs.

Ensure timely deployment and installation of assets to end-users.

Collaborate with the IT team to configure and set up new assets according to established standards.

Asset Tracking and Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of all IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and related documentation.

Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical and digital asset inventories.

Monitor asset utilization and identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings.

Generate reports on asset status, availability, and performance as required.

Asset Maintenance and Support:
Coordinate with IT technicians to schedule and perform routine maintenance tasks on assets.

Troubleshoot and resolve asset-related issues in a timely manner.

Facilitate repairs and replacements of faulty or damaged assets, following appropriate procedures.

Asset Retirement and Disposal:
Plan and execute the retirement and disposal of outdated or non-functional assets.

Ensure compliance with data privacy and environmental regulations during the disposal process.

Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to securely wipe data from retired assets.

Policy and Compliance:
Develop and maintain IT asset management policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Enforce compliance with asset management policies and educate employees on best practices.

Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to IT asset management.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Proven experience in IT asset management, preferably in a large organization.

Solid understanding of IT hardware and software components and their lifecycle.

Familiarity with IT asset management tools and software.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Knowledge of data privacy and environmental regulations related to asset disposal.

Salary:
₹25, ₹32,000.00 per month
