Purpose Of Role:

Data build across BTGS Systems and System Configuration for the Contract

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory build through IIB portal for a particular customer: Data is gathered from contract team and collated in Excel worksheet. For correct data alignment in Central repository, SQL query is used to get further details from DB and to validate the Inventory post build activity.
Bulk upload of Inventory: For bulk Inventory data upload into Central Repository, Manual data uplift route is used. Data is collated in Excel and automation/macros are applied to maintain the data in required template format before sending the request to the team.
Inventory Build via single entry interface for small volume of inventory: For adhoc (mostly inlife data) basis inventory build requests, single entry interface portal is used to upload data into Central Repository. Different BT systems are being checked to validate the information received from MUs or Contract teams.
Reconciliation and analysis of raw data provided by the customer and upload the reconciled data into Central BTGS repository: Basis the customer provided master data, details are validated and amended in different upstream systems to get the Central BTGS repository details synced as per the business requirement. Automation/macros and SQL query are being used during the process.
Bulk upload of devices, circuits and Sites to customer for IIB.
Detailed Customer Inventory report in specific format: Inventory details are fetched from different BT Network monitoring systems or Central BTGS repository (using SQL query) and formatted in Excel before providing the final report to customer.
Customized Inventory report to the end Customers
Network Management Database configuration: Basis the inlife requests, inventory data configuration, manual commissioning of routers/switches, device polling status check/amendment are done on Network Management Data Base.
Ensuring Device Monitoring in BTGS

Monitoring Systems:
Regular reports are fetched from different BTGS monitoring systems and analysed to maintain the end-to-end data integrity.

Qualifications:

Minimum of two years experience in either a Telecom or Analysts domain.
Graduate (minimum 3 years college level) education preferable B.Tech.
Highly Numerate, exceptional understanding of MS Excel, SQL, Tableau.
Good written and spoken English.
Competence in Windows based tools (Outlook/Word/Excel)

Skills/Experience:

Exceptional Microsoft Office skills including Excel, MS Access, MS Word, VBA.
Good knowledge for PL/SQL, Tableau
Being able to work in a team as well as an individual contributor.
Being able to take ownership if tasks assigned and complete them on time, escalate early to the management.
Experience in working in a diverse and fast paced work environment.
