Overview:


Responsibilities:

Curriculum Planning and Implementation:


  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans in accordance with the CBSE curriculum for Grades 910.
  • Incorporate a variety of teaching methods to address diverse learning styles.

Mathematics Instruction:


  • Instruct students in various mathematical concepts including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and statistics.
  • Foster critical thinking and problemsolving skills through interactive and challenging activities.

Assessment and Evaluation:


  • Design and administer assessments to measure students' understanding and progress.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate assessment results to parents.

Classroom Management:


  • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active student participation.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a conducive learning atmosphere.

Individualized Support:


  • Identify and address individual learning needs through differentiated instruction.
  • Collaborate with support staff and colleagues to provide additional assistance when required.

Parental Communication:


  • Maintain regular communication with parents regarding students' academic progress and any concerns.
  • Attend parentteacher conferences and other schoolrelated events.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Teaching certification for mathematics at the secondary level.
  • Previous experience teaching mathematics to Grade 910 students.
  • Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and assessment practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
