    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SQL Database Administrator to join our team and play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our critical database infrastructure.


    Minimum Requirements :

    • 8+ years of handson experience in SQL Server Database Administration, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, security, and disaster recovery.
    • Proven experience in analyzing and designing business systems, understanding data flow and user needs.
    • Experience working in a production environment, administering databases on live servers and ensuring high availability.
    • Experience with data analytics concepts and tools for extracting insights from databases.
    • Familiarity with Azure Database Administration for managing cloudbased SQL databases.
    • Experience with data warehouse design, implementation, and management.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
    • A commitment to providing highquality and professional customer service, ensuring user satisfaction with database services.

    Technical Skills :

    • Microsoft SQL Server (all editions), with indepth knowledge of High Availability (HA) and AlwaysOn Availability Groups.
    • Proficiency in Transact-SQL (T-SQL) for querying, scripting, and database object manipulation.
    • Experience with database performance monitoring and optimization techniques.
    • Familiarity with database security best practices and user access control.
    • Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and implementation for SQL Server databases.
    • Experience with version control systems like Git for managing database code and scripts.

    Desired Skills :

    • Experience with Power BI administration and configuration for data visualization.
    • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure for deploying and managing databases.
    • Knowledge of database migration techniques (onpremises to cloud, etc.).
    • Experience with database automation tools and scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell).
    • Familiarity with data encryption and security standards (e.g. HIPAA, PCI DSS).

    Responsibilities :

    • Manage all aspects of the SQL Server environment, including installation, configuration, performance optimization, security, and backups.
    • Analyze business requirements and design efficient database structures to support business needs.
    • Work with developers and business analysts to understand data models and ensure data integrity.
    • Implement and maintain high availability solutions for SQL Server databases.
    • Develop and execute disaster recovery plans to ensure minimal downtime in case of emergencies.
    • Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.
    • Secure databases by implementing user access controls, encryption, and other best practices.
    • Automate database administration tasks using scripting languages and tools.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database systems.
    • Provide technical support to users and resolve databaserelated issues.
    • Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in SQL Server technologies and best practices.
