    Description

    Role Description :
    This is a remote contract role for an AS400 Solution Architect. The Solution Architect will be responsible for providing consulting, software development, integration, and business process solutions.

    The role involves day-to-day tasks related to solution architecture and collaborating with cross-functional teams.


    Qualifications :

    • Solution Architecture and Consulting skills.
    • Software Development and Integration experience.
    • Understanding of business processes.
    • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work remotely and independently.
    • Experience in the IT industry is a plus.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

    Key Responsibilities :

    • Develop and maintain applications using RPG, CL, CLLE, ISeries, Synon, Cobol, SQL, and RPGLE on the AS400 platform.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on best practices for development.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, data integrity, and system stability.
    • Contribute to the overall architecture and design of new systems and enhancements.)
