AGCO, a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural solutions, has an exciting career opportunity for an IT Security Architect to join our team in Bengaluru, India.
The Strategy, Innovation & Digital Value stream team at AGCO Corporation is looking for an experienced IT Security Architect to join a diverse team dedicated to solutions architecture, strategy and innovation.

The IT Security Architect will be responsible for aligning the future state enterprise information security architecture with the corporate strategy.


What You Will Do:


  • The IT Security Architect will design and oversee implementation of secure information technology architectures. Helps to identify and define the organizations cyber security requirements and research, plans, designs, and evaluates security architectures in accordance with organization needs. The role will also handle basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higherlevel staff.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The IT Security Architect provides detailed recommendations for architecture and technology and reports on all matters relevant to information security. The IT Security Architect works with Infrastructure teams, Support teams, and Development teams to develop and implement security architectures, solutions, standards and training, that ensures confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the AGCO systems. The IT Security Architect will be responsible for reviewing, documenting, and assessing all items relevant to information security.
  • Drives beneficial security change into the business through the development or review of architectures to ensure that they fit business requirements for security, mitigate risks, conform to the relevant security standards, and balance information risk against the cost of appropriate countermeasures.
  • Perform cyber risk assessments to identify, analyze, and quantify risks and vulnerabilities in infrastructure, systems, code, products, and business processes as needed. Provide strategies for establishing and sustaining the security requirements of an information asset and identify protection goals and objectives consistent with the company's strategy and business objectives. These assessments can take multiple formats, including audits, vulnerability tests, selfassessments, industry comparisons, code reviews, etc.
  • Create highlevel design documents and detailed specifications, in accordance with company architecture standards. Creates new data models as well as improving existing databases and data flows.

What You Will Bring:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology,
  • OR equivalent work experience,
  • Experience with 35 years of relevant cybersecurity experience,
  • Industrylevel certifications, i.e., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or comparable security related certifications,
  • Understanding of the system development lifecycle,
  • Knowledge of network and web related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS),
  • Experience in or knowledge of applicable compliance regulations and standards (SOX, GDPR, NIST, ISO, etc.),
  • Demonstrated expertise in:
  • Operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows, Mac OS X, RTOS, etc.),
  • Security technologies: Identity Access Management, Vulnerability and Patch Management, Security Information and Event Management, Security Orchestration & Automated Response, Static Application Security Testing, Dynamic Application Security Testing, Open Source Software Scanning, Operational Technology monitoring, Public Key Infrastructure, etc.,
  • Drives optimal reference architecture that efficiently and effectively presents an integrated view of enterprise security for AGCO's security needs,
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, specifically SAFe and Scrum,
