Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, system operations, and automation. You will play a key role in optimizing our development processes, improving our deployment pipelines, and enhancing the reliability and scalability of our systems.

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines: Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to automate software delivery processes.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to provision and manage infrastructure resources on cloud platforms.

Monitoring and Logging: Set up and configure monitoring and logging solutions to track system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of applications.

Containerization and Orchestration: Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to deploy and manage containerized applications efficiently.

Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with development teams to understand their requirements and provide infrastructure support, guidance, and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems.

Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Perform security audits, vulnerability assessments, and implement appropriate security controls.

Automated Testing: Integrate automated testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines to ensure the quality and reliability of software releases.

Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance through tuning, capacity planning, and other optimization techniques.

Documentation: Document infrastructure configurations, deployment processes, and troubleshooting procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain system documentation.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.

Strong proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Shell, or Ruby.

Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, ELK stack, or Splunk.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Google Professional DevOps Engineer).

Experience with microservices architecture and related technologies.

Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps principles.

Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR).
