    Job Description :

    Skills required to contribute :

    Strong Experience in Java, Passion for software engineering and craftsman-like coding prowess.

    Experience in analysis, design, coding, and implementation of large-scale custom-built, scalable applications and platforms.

    Champion best practices SOLID principles, OO design, and pair programming.

    Drive Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches such as Continuous Integration, TDD, BDD, etc.

    Understand virtualization & DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Infra as a code.

    Good knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS and look to deliver across cloud providers (GCP, Azure).

    As a Lead Java Developer - Backend, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing large-scale, custom-built, and scalable applications and platforms.

    Your passion for software engineering, expertise in Java programming, and commitment to best practices will drive the team towards excellence.

    You will play a pivotal role in adopting and championing Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery approaches while leveraging virtualization and DevOps principles to enhance efficiency and scalability.

    Key Responsibilities :

    Software Development :

    Lead the design, development, and implementation of backend solutions using Java, ensuring adherence to best practices and high coding standards.

    Craftsman-like Coding :

    Demonstrate a craftsman-like approach to coding, emphasizing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

    Architect Scalable Solutions :

    Analyze requirements and design scalable applications and platforms that meet the needs of the business.

    Champion Best Practices :

    Advocate for and implement best practices such as SOLID principles, object-oriented design, and pair programming to enhance code quality and maintainability.

    Drive Agile and Continuous Delivery :

    Lead the adoption of Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery approaches, including Continuous Integration, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), to streamline the development process and improve time-to-market.

    Virtualization and DevOps :

    Utilize your understanding of virtualization and DevOps principles to implement solutions using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

    Collaboration :

    Work closely with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.

    Mentorship :

    Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.

    Requirements :

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

    9 - 12 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend development using Java.

    Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale, custom-built, and scalable applications and platforms.

    Deep understanding of SOLID principles, object-oriented design, and pair programming.

    Experience driving Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery approaches, including CI/CD, TDD, and BDD.

    Familiarity with virtualization and DevOps principles, with hands-on experience in technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.

    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.

    Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    Experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers is preferred.
