Job Background:
GFT PC&A FDAR team is built to Design, Develop, and Implement automated financial books and records capabilities to support daily, monthly close processes by designing, building validating, and implementing technology solutions to support required workflows, dashboard reporting, analytics for effective tracking and oversight of daily and monthly close cycles.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders, frontend technology team to brainstorm and cocreate ideas, approaches, and solutions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and highfidelity designs using Figma, along with our established Design System.
- Ensure that designs follow best practices and use research & testing to inform and validate.
- Confidently challenge the status quo, encouraging all involved to address root causes to ensure the best outcome for users.
- Deliver highquality design assets to the engineering team, along with clear guidance to ensure all aspects of the designs are fully understood.
- Keep up to date with the latest UX practices, innovations, and tools.
- Assist and train new UX starters in the team.
- Identify and analyze issues, make recommendations, and implement solutions.
- Utilize knowledge of business processes, system processes, and industry standards to solve complex issues.
- Analyze information and make evaluative judgements to recommend solutions and improvements.
- Conduct testing and debugging, utilize script tools, and write basic code for design specifications.
- Assess applicability of similar experiences and evaluate options under circumstances not covered by procedures.
Qualifications:
- 35 years of industry UX Design experience, be confident to negotiate with end user / BA to provide quick response by mockup.
- 3+ years' experience with professional design tools, such as: Figma, Sketch, AdobeXD, InVision.
- 3+ years' experience with working with Design Systems.
- Creative flair and a good eye for design.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem
- solving.
- Keen interest in, or knowledge of, banking or finance is a plus like concept of accounting, balance sheet.
- Working knowledge of industry practice and standards.
- Working knowledge of program languages.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
