Objectives of this Role:


The Logistics Associate is responsible for ensuring that 4PL Consultancy's clients comply with all applicable export and import documentation regulations worldwide by developing, implementing, and maintaining standard operating procedures.

Job Description:


  • Handling end to end management of International Import/export shipments
  • Obtaining International documentation such as Certificate of Origin, Export declarations, ATR, etc.
  • Demand & Supply planning.
  • Inventory Management.
  • Invoice & other shipping documentation preparation.
  • Coordination with clearing agents and freight forwarders.
  • Ensuring smooth origin and destination Customs clearance.
  • Pricing & Purchase agreements.
  • Communicating with the Client & updating the progress.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

  • Observe and seek improvement opportunities in existing and new processes and procedures to decrease risk, increase efficiency and reduce cost
  • Making sure suppliers have enough stock to meet demand
  • Work with approved freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure exemplary compliance performance
  • Tracking products through depots to make sure they arrive at their destination
  • Works independently to complete given tasks and activities
  • Monitoring stock levels

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Min 1 years of relevant Purchase & Procurement experience
  • Ability to use spreadsheets, databases, and other IT programmes
  • Knowledge of demand & supply planning
  • Post Graduate degree in Supply Chain/Logistics (preferred)
  • Ability to work with a crossfunctional team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Fluent in using Microsoft Office
  • Familiar with ERP systems
