Description
To provide PETA India's Fundraising Department with administrative support, with particular attention to major donors, corporate donors, and legacy supporters

  • To act as a contact for PETA India's donors and provide them with excellent supporter care.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Handle supporter correspondence and telephone communication in a timely, professional manner.
  • Generate welcome packs, letters, and responses to requests for information from PETA India members.
  • Send out major donor updates as required.
  • Support the Fundraising Department in planning and organising special fundraiser events, sending out invitations, making reminder calls, sending gifts to donors, and coordinating with relevant teams to ensure events go as planned
  • Help the department in setting up new fundraising initiatives, such as employee payroll distribution, legacy giving, and setting up collaborations with corporations
  • Ensure that accurate records of donor interactions are logged and maintained on the membership database as per PETA India's data protection policies
  • Oversee facetoface fundraising campaigns
  • Serve as a primary contact for donors and assist them with making donations
  • Assist the fundraising team with handling donor enquiries
  • Answer phone calls
  • Maintain and update the department's paper and electronic files
  • Perform ad hoc administrative duties for the department
  • Undertake any other duties required by the supervisor

Qualifications:


  • Relevant college or university degree
  • Experience working in an office setting
  • Experience working with a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and a high level of ethical conduct
  • Proven excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and effectively with limited supervision
  • Ability to organise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Professional appearance
  • Commitment to the objectives of the organisation
