Responsibilities:

Draft, review, redline and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including master service agreements, customer agreements, vendor agreements, nondisclosure, consulting, and other agreements.
Provide legal analysis and advice regarding initiatives and strategy, including counselling and collaborating on regulatory, privacy, security, emerging technology, intellectual property, and other issues.
Contribute to the development of business processes and policies to mitigate risk, reduce inefficiencies, and achieve business objectives.
Identify key compliance risks and issues.
Ability to work agreements originating from anywhere globally.
Develop clear communications, guidance, templates, and trainings for the business.
Serve as the liaison for the Legal Department in engaging outside counsel and support Legal Department initiatives.
Perform other duties as required.

Skills:

Must have

Undergraduate degree in law (LLB) from a recognized Indian university.
3 to 4 years of commercial contract drafting and negotiating experience gained in a law firm and/or inhouse environment. Prior inhouse (corporate) experience is preferred over law firm experience.
Commitment to a creative, inclusive, and diverse workplace, and ability to contribute to a sense of belonging in the broader Legal Department.
Exemplary contract drafting skills, ability to think outside of templates and resolve issues with creativity and precision.
Handson experience in handling local compliance, employment related matters.
