Job Summary:

The Fashion Merchandiser will be responsible for managing the product life cycle for the company's fashion merchandise across multiple channels, including online, retail outlets, and other sales channels.

This role requires an individual with excellent fashion product knowledge and a strong understanding of retail math and consumer behavior.

The Fashion Merchandiser will work closely with the buying, design, and marketing teams to develop and execute successful product assortments that meet customer demands and drive sales growth.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a merchandise plan that supports the company's overall sales and profit objectives
Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activity
Work closely with the buying team to select and purchase products that meet the company's standards for quality, value, and fashion relevance
Collaborate with the design team to develop product lines that are aligned with the company's aesthetic and brand image
Create and maintain a product assortment that meets the needs of customers across all sales channels
Manage the flow of merchandise through the supply chain, ensuring that products are delivered on time and in the right quantities
Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and make recommendations for adjusting the product mix
Communicate regularly with store managers and other stakeholders to provide product information, training, and support

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field
3+ years of experience in fashion merchandising, with a strong understanding of retail math and consumer behavior
Excellent fashion product knowledge, with a strong understanding of current trends and consumer preferences
Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
Ability to analyse sales data and make informed decisions
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software and systems
