Material Controller
Group Trucks Operations -IM Hosakote

Position Description

As a Material Controller you are responsible to ensure parts arrive in time and with the right quantities to our plant.

As a Material Controller, your primary tasks are:

Daily monitor the deliveries from suppliers according to the call off and act on deviations
Monitor daily MRP Alarms (missing ASN ) and take necessary actions
Monitor in transit ASN's, call off report in SAP system
Monitor IDOC's and take necessary actions
XTR booking for critical air and sea shipments
Update MRP parameters in SAP time to time as and when new parts and new suppliers are introduced
Monitor stock level for high value parts to control inventory
Communicate to internal stake holders on the critical parts list
Frequent communication with suppliers and colleagues within the Volvo Group
Manage deviations swiftly and take decisions in the most costefficient way in order to minimize risks of disturbances
Actively manage inventory levels and work on improvements to support positive development of your portfolio
Continuous improvement related to ways of working, transport, inventory etc

Qualifications

We are looking for a person with an academic degree preferably related to Supply Chain with 56 years experience; as well as proven work experience within Logistics. You should feel comfortable to work in cross functional teams in an international environment. Experience in SAP is preferred
