Description

Typical duties and responsibilities (Remote work)
Experience : 8 to 10 yrs relevant
Salary : 1.6L - 1.8L + GST

Troubleshoot and fix database performance problems

Design, create, modify and remove database objects (tables, views, indexes, keys, stored procedures, functions, DB links, etc.) to support performance improvements

Support development of KPI's to evaluate metrics for database performance

Performance review and tune pending, new and, production database objects

Design, create, modify and remove database objects (tables, views, indexes, keys, stored procedures, functions, DB links, etc.) to support development projects

Implement and test database objects in non-production environments

Work with software developers to establish best practices for database storage and organization.

Work with Application Development Teams, Project Managers, Architects, Infrastructure teams and IT Management to support fixes, enhancements, and projects

Provide SQL training, best practices and standards to developers

Write recommendations for the developers with specific fixes for the queries & indexes

Drive, Design and Deliver Archive strategies
