As part of our expansion plans, we are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Officer to establish and manage a distribution network across Odisha.


Job Responsibilities:

Distribution Network Development:
Create and implement strategies to establish a robust distributor and sub-distributor network across Odisha.
Identify and onboard potential distributors/sub-distributors in different regions of Odisha.


Sales Planning and Execution:
Develop sales plans in alignment with company objectives and targets. Execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales goals.


Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, sub-distributors, and other channel partners. Provide necessary support and guidance to ensure mutual growth.


Market Analysis:
Conduct regular market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitor activities. Analyze sales data and customer feedback to make informed business decisions.


Training and Development:
Conduct training sessions for distributors and sub-distributors on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies.
Work closely with the marketing team to ensure effective communication of product features and promotions.


Reporting:
Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
Provide insights and recommendations for improvement based on the analysis of sales data.


Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, contracts, and agreements.


Customer Satisfaction:
Work towards ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient distribution and prompt issue resolution.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the food or FMCG industry.
  • Strong understanding of distribution networks and channel management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Resultsdriven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Odisha.
