    Description

    Role: AWS Cloud Engineer

    Location: Bangalore / Chennai / Mumbai / Pune

    Experience: 3-8 years

    Note: Immediate joiners to 45 days preferred.

    Job Description:

    • Identify and resolve virtual and physical infrastructure issues which impact the functionality of the application and hosting platform.
    • Experience working with IAM, Active Directory, NAS, NFS, Storage, Backups, Database, firewalls, and Load balancing.
    • Working experience on AWS DataSync to migrate SAN data from On-Prem to AWS FSx ONTAP for NetApp.
    • Knowledge of implementing EBS, EFS, FSx, S3, Glacier and Retention policies.
    • Experience in O/S (Windows/Linux), configuration, installation and maintenance are required.
    • Experience in implementing ACL's, Route table Security Groups, AWS API, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, RDS, CloudTrail, KMS and CloudFormation.
    • Maintain S3 bucket policies, involve in copying files from source systems to S3 buckets.
    • Restore EC2 instances from AMI
    • Assign IAM Roles and Policies to Users, Security Groups by using Identity and Access Management
    • Perform Operational maintenance activities which include platform upgrades, patching, monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting.
    • Manage manual/automated backups and create snapshots of RDS where-ever is required.
    • Restore RDS database from backups and snapshots created.
    • Working with EBS volumes and snapshots
    • Monitor cloud watch notification and respond to the alarms within committed SLA time.

    Desired Skills:

    • 3 - 8 years of experience in infrastructure support with minimum 3 years of experience in AWS platform support.
    • Be a trusted advisor for cloud initiatives, providing practical and achievable solutions/ ideas, as per customer needs.
    • AWS Certified – (Solutions Architect/SysOps – Associate)
    • Need to Understand the Permission structure of the File shares
    • Should have good Understanding in Linux and shell terminal Console.
    • Should have sound Knowledge in robocopy & Rsync experiences in errors when syncing large numbers of files and when deployed in large Migration environments.
    • Disk errors troubleshooting guidance.
    • Understanding of scripting and Automation skills to streamline Dev/Ops are desirable. Python, PowerShell.
    • Ability to quickly adapt and learn new service offerings from AWS and map them to customer requirements.
    • Experience with various tools for assessment and migrations
    • Ability to work with distributed international teams in different time zones if required.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Should be a team player, able to own issues and work with cross functional teams in problem solving.
