• Key Responsibilities:
• Breakdown & Maintenance Monitoring:
• Monitor and manage the breakdowns and maintenance of key equipment such as CTL (Cut-to-Length) lines, Annealing Line, Pickling Line, and 4 Hi & 20 Hi Mills.
• Coordinate preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance tasks to ensure minimal downtime and efficient plant operations.
• Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems Maintenance:
• Maintain and troubleshoot high-pressure hydraulic power pack systems and low-pressure hydraulic power pack systems.
• Oversee the maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing failures.
• Coolant System Maintenance:
• Ensure the effective functioning and maintenance of coolant systems, supporting efficient equipment operations.
• EOT Crane Maintenance:
• Oversee the maintenance and inspection of EOT cranes, ensuring their proper functionality for lifting and moving heavy materials.
• Planning & Monitoring of Shutdowns:
• Responsible for material requirement planning for monthly and major shutdowns.
• Monitor and manage shutdown performance, ensuring activities are completed on time and within budget.
• Manpower & Vendor Management:
• Plan manpower requirements for maintenance activities and shutdowns, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Coordinate with vendors for sourcing parts, services, and support, ensuring timely delivery and maintenance of spare parts.
• Inspection & Troubleshooting:
• Perform regular inspections of rolling mill equipment to identify potential issues before breakdowns occur.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently to maintain equipment functionality.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain ISO-related documents, breakdown reports, and maintenance logs to track performance and compliance.
• Ensure proper documentation of preventive maintenance measures and repairs.
• ISO & Quality Systems:
• Implement and ensure compliance with ISO standards such as ISO 10006, ISO 50001, ISO 9000, ISO 9001, ISO 2008, EMS 14001, and OHAS 18001.
• Oversee Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), World-Class Manufacturing (WCM), and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Performance Monitoring:
• Utilize SAP/ERP/Oracle systems for performance monitoring and tracking of maintenance activities, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule.
