Job Purpose:

Preparation of EndtoEnd Financial Statements of Legal Entity
Support in an accurate and timely way the monthly, quarterly, hardclose and yearendfinancial closing for the entities in the region
Maintain and share with the entities the setup of the financial reporting and general ledger structure for both IFRS/IndAS and statutory reporting
Support Statutory Audits, Tax audits (Direct/Indirect) and filing compliances
Support BU accounting manager in adhoc specific BU activities

Key Accountabilities:

Responsible for EndtoEnd Financial Statements of Legal Entity and supporting the RAC group for finalization of Financial Statements
Responsible for monthly, quarterly, hardclose and yearendfinancial closing for the entity or entities in the region, in an accurate and timely way, (including Financial Reporting, Fixed Asset Accounting, General Ledger Accounting, Inter Company Accounting, Treasury Accounting, Period Close Activities, Statutory and Tax Reporting)
Support consolidation of legal entity statements and local statutory reporting in the region
Advise on operational complex and judgement based general accounting (e.g. complex (nonrule based) accruals) and recurring monthend activities
Monitor IFRS/IndAS and other compliance with policies and treatments
Review P&L and BS from an accounting perspective in ERP / HFM (during the month / as per the agreed BS review cycle)
Complete Aforms
Support Statutory Audits, Tax audits (Direct/Indirect) and filing compliances
Comply with rules and regulations set by global accounting team
Identify and signal recurring issues for further process improvement
Drive standardization and quality in balance sheet reconciliation process
Operational key link for GBS (e.g. in escalation or advice on transactions)
Involve specialists in specific accounting topics where specific / deep knowledge is required

Experience:

- _Accounting professional with preferably 5-7 years of experience in accounting and reporting, and capable of analyzing complex processes and issues (2nd or 3rd accounting job)_
- _Experience in handling Listed Indian Entity and also worked in Shared Services Setup_
- _Degree in Finance or Accounting _
- _CA Final or CA Intermediate added advantage_
- _Expertise knowledge in financial accounting (IFRS/IndAS, accounting processes)_
- _Knowledge and understanding of Financial / ERP systems, SAP/MFGPRO knowledge preferred_
- _Understanding on the Direct and Indirect tax, GST, tax filings/assessments, reporting to the tax authorities etc_
- _Understanding of Consolidation systems, preferably HFM_
- _Problem solving with analytical skills_
- _Result orientated with a focus on service delivery_
- _Advanced user of Microsoft Excel_
