Description

Dealing with advocates and solicitors in respect of the company's legal issues/ or briefing of the cases/ complaints.

Drafting and filing oppositions/ counter statements against same/ similar trademarks field against / by third party.
Searching infringed trademarks/ copyrights and sending them cease and desist notice/ legal notice, rejoinder and settlement letter with respect to infringement and misrepresentation of trademarks/ copyrights
Drafting, vetting and reviewing various agreements like Lease/ license agreements, nondisclosure agreements, stakeholder agreements, promotion agreements, services agreements, memorandum of understandings etc.
Assisting in intellectual property litigation and attending matters in supreme court, high court, district courts
Handling correspondence with foreign attorney for filing of new international trademarks, renewal of trademarks and/ or any other foreign litigation filed against or by third party.
Tracking of similar/ same trademarks (filed by other party) in trade marks journal.
Coordinating with internal stakeholders for necessary information gathering and manage simultaneous time sensitive legal projects.
Maintain and manage all types of documents (renewal deadlines, opposition deadlines, etc. )
Build positive and productive relationships with consultants and continuously following up for out regular cases.
Responsible for monitoring and keeping an eye on all foreign trademarks in multiple platforms (WIPO, EUIPO etc.)
Working closely with all other departments and helping them to vet all agreements and related documents.
Maintaining and reporting monthly MIS with respect to all legal and compliance issues related company.
Handling all required licence, NOC etc. as per requirement in the company.
