    Application Support Engineer :

    • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software support, with extensive knowledge of the ELK stack, Python, Grafana, and DevOps practices including Docker and Kubernetes.
    Experience with Prometheus, RabbitMQ, and DevSecOps principles is also required.


    Responsibilities :

    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting services for applications running on our platform, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
    • Monitor application performance using tools such as ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Grafana, and Prometheus, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
    • Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python to streamline application deployment and management processes.
    • Work with Docker and Kubernetes to containerize applications and manage scalable deployments.
    • Implement and maintain security practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle, adhering to DevSecOps principles.
    • Collaborate with development teams to integrate security measures with CI/CD pipelines.
    • Manage message queuing services using RabbitMQ, ensuring reliable message delivery between applications.
    • Document all support procedures and system configurations to maintain a knowledge base of best practices.
    • Participate in oncall rotation for critical support issues outside of normal business hours.

    Qualifications :

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in application support or a related field.
    • Strong knowledge of ELK Stack, Python, and Grafana.
    • Proficient in DevOps tools and practices, including Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Experience with Prometheus for monitoring and alerting.
    • Familiarity with RabbitMQ or similar message queuing technologies.
    • Understanding of DevSecOps principles and experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
    • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
