JD Procurement Assistant

Responsibilities:

Assist in sourcing and selecting suppliers/vendors based on quality, price, and delivery speed.
Process purchase orders accurately and promptly, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order details, negotiate terms, and resolve any discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, including contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to avoid stockouts.
Track shipments and communicate with logistics providers to ensure timely delivery.
Assist in evaluating supplier performance and identifying opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.
Handle inquiries and resolve issues related to procurement in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and operations, to ensure alignment on procurement goals and objectives.
Stay informed about market trends, new products, and industry best practices to support strategic decisionmaking.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
12 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management preferred.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems is a plus.
Knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance standards.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
