    ServiceNow Admin Job Description

    Overview:

    The ServiceNow Admin plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining the ServiceNow platform to ensure its smooth operation, implementing solutions to enhance its performance and usability. Responsible for configuring, customizing, and supporting ServiceNow applications to meet organizational needs. This is vital for effective IT service delivery and support processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Configure and customize ServiceNow applications and modules according to business requirements
    • Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for implementing ServiceNow solutions and integrations
    • Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of ServiceNow applications
    • Create and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow configurations and customizations
    • Monitor and optimize ServiceNow application performance
    • Develop and maintain ServiceNow reports and dashboards
    • Provide support, training, and guidance to end users
    • Implement and maintain ServiceNow ITIL processes and best practices
    • Participate in ServiceNow upgrade and enhancement projects
    • Stay updated on ServiceNow trends and best practices
    • Collaborate with vendors and support teams to resolve ServiceNow technical issues
    • Contribute to ServiceNow governance and compliance initiatives
    • Participate in evaluating and selecting ServiceNow plugins and applications
    • Assist in ServiceNow platform architecture and design

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
    • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
    • 3 years of experience in ServiceNow administration and configuration
    • Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or Jelly
    • Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks and practices
    • Experience in ServiceNow integration and development
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
    • Knowledge of database management and web technologies
    • Experience with relational databases and SQL
    • Understanding of enterprise IT service management
    • Familiarity with ServiceNow best practices and methodologies
    • Quick adaptability to new technologies and learning
    • Experience in ServiceNow upgrade and patch management
