Duties: Essential FunctionsCollects data pertinent to the healthcare consumers health or thesituation. Analyzes the assessment data to determine actual orpotential diagnoses problems and issues. Identifies expectedoutcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer orthe situation. Develops a plan that prescribes strategies to attainexpected measurable outcomes. Implements the identified plancoordinates care delivery and employs strategies to promote healthand a safe environment. Delegates elements of care to appropriatehealthcare workers in accordance with any applicable legal orpolicy parameters or principles. Evaluates progress towardattainment of goals and outcomes. Practices in a manner that iscongruent with cultural diversity and inclusion principles.
Communicates effectively in all areas of practice. Collaborateswith healthcare consumer and other key stakeholders in the conductof nursing practice. Demonstrates leadership in the professionalpractice setting and the profession. Seeks knowledge and competencethat reflects current nursing practice and promotes futuristicthinking. Integrates evidence and research findings into practice.
Contributes to quality nursing practice. Evaluates ones own andothers nursing practice in relation to professional practicestandards and guidelines relevant statutes rules and regulations.

PhysicalRequirements:
Work requires walking standing sitting liftingreaching stooping bending pushing and pulling. Must be able to liftand support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients medicalequipment and supplies. Must speak English in good understandableterms. Intact sense of sight hearing smell and touch. Fingerdexterity. Critical thinking and ability to concentrate. Must beable to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unitconditions.

Skills: Skills:Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider status accordingto American Heart Association. Current RN license or temporarylicense as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state in which youwork and reside or; if declaring a National License Compact (NLC)state as your primary state of residency meet the licensurerequirements in your home state; or for NonNational License Compactstates current RN license or temporary license as a RegisteredNurse Petitioner required in the state where the RNworks

Education: Education:Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSNpreferred.

Highly Preferred Experience:

Highly prefer worker withInterventional Radiology experience; Will also accept RNs withexperience in the following units: OR Cath Lab ICU ED or CardiacTelemetry.

Worker must have IV experience.


Certification/Licensure/Additional Requirements:
Experience withmoderate sedation strong IV start skills postprocedure arterialaccess site management skills and taking call is required. BLS(completed through AHA or ARC only)
