Position Summary:
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for leading sales operations, driving revenue growth, and expanding market penetration for our stent and balloon products across the region. This role demands a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, exceptional sales acumen, and the ability to build and nurture relationships with healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed regional sales targets.
Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team, setting performance standards and monitoring progress.
Cultivate strong relationships with key healthcare professionals, including cardiologists, radiologists, and hospital administrators, across
Analyze regional market trends, identify opportunities for growth, and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Coordinate with the marketing department to support product promotions, campaigns, and educational programs
Ensure the sales team is equipped with the necessary product knowledge and sales skills through regular training and development initiatives.
Provide regular sales forecasts and detailed reports on market activities, challenges, and accomplishments to senior management.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards in sales practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the medical device industry, preferably with exposure to stents and balloons.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in a competitive market.
Strong leadership capabilities and experience in managing sales teams.
Deep understanding of the healthcare sector and network
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel extensively across the region.
