Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the IT Service functions within Freudenberg Chemical Specialties in all matters concerning technical IT Security such as system / technology selection, secure implementation, administration / monitoring as well as secure operations and maintenance of infrastructure components
• Develop and integrate technical security controls and measures in association with the Information Security Manager into the information system as part system's operational capabilities.
• Implementing and testing new security features, including documentation and troubleshooting
• Supporting security services based on firewalls, antivirus software and patch management systems
• Analyzing vulnerabilities, determine the associated risks and provide input on risk remediation in association with the Information Security Manager, the IT Department and the Service Responsible. Keeping track of planned remediating actions or compensating controls to follow up on their implementation
• Schedule rescans to verify the remediating actions have been implemented and report progress to ensure effectiveness
• Vendor Management for required solutions and services

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree/ in Computer Science, IT Engineering degree / Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• 5 to 8 years of IT Information Security work experience,
• The incumbent must possess strong IT Security acumen. Deep understanding about critical security flaws and experience in fixing them
• Worked in IT security management with experience in IT IS tools. Defining security risk assessment, validating audit finding and supported in mitigation
• Deep understanding of Security Tools such as SIEM, Firewalls, IDS, IPS, MS Defender and Secure Network, AD, AAD-Design.
• Practical experience in operating vulnerability scanners like OPENVAS, Nessus, NMAP, Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer etc. Strong knowledge about CVSS, CVE and technical risk management
