Travel Requirement:

Extensive travel to colleges, universities, and professional network engineering associations across India for prospect meetings, workshop coordination, and attendance at workshops is essential.


Travel Expenses:
All travel expenses, including flights, accommodation, and meals, will be fully covered.


Additional Incentives:
An additional incentive will be provided for workshop days.


About Abater Foundation:

Abater Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting internet operations and industry best practices.

We conduct workshops that empower students and professional network engineers with knowledge about IPv6, DNS, BGP, network automation, network monitoring, and other essential internet-related topics.

We are seeking a Outreach Coordinator to help us expand our reach to educational institutions and professional associations across India and engage a diverse audience in these valuable workshops.


Position Summary:


As the Outreach Coordinator at Abater Foundation, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing relationships with colleges, universities, and professional network engineering associations across India.

Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate workshops on internet operations and industry best practices, catering to both students and professional network engineers.

This position is fully remote, with a significant travel component across India, and your efforts will contribute to empowering the next generation of internet professionals and enhancing the skills of network engineers.


Key Responsibilities:


Identify and Establish Relationships:
Identify colleges, universities, and professional network engineering associations interested in hosting workshops. Establish partnerships with relevant departments, faculty members, and organizations. Extensive travel to meet prospects is required.


Workshop Coordination:
Collaborate with internal teams to plan and coordinate workshops suitable for both students and professional network engineers. Ensure that all logístical and technical requirements are met.


Registration Desk Assistance:
Provide support at the registration desk during workshops, including participant check-in and distribution of workshop materials.


Event Logistics:
Manage all aspects of workshop logistics, including scheduling, venue arrangements, equipment setup, and participant registration.


Resource Development:

Assist in the development of workshop materials and resources suitable for both student and professional audiences, including presentations, handouts, and online content.


Feedback Collection:
Collect feedback from workshop participants and organizations to continually improve workshop content and delivery.


Reporting:
Maintain records of workshop activities and prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Education).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in event coordination and outreach activities.
  • Familiarity with internet operations topics (IPv6, DNS, BGP, network automation, network monitoring) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across India, with all travel expenses covered.
  • Professional and presentable appearance and demeanor, essential for representing Abater Foundation during prospect meetings and workshops.

Salary:
₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
