Job Description:

To lead the Procurement for a product group
Place the schedule to the suppliers based on the PR / RLN after considering the shortage.
Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, Ensure on time delivery.
Supports all material cost reduction initiatives for the category(s)
Ensures the POs are placed on time as per the agreed terms.
Responsible for meeting inventory targets for the specific category at the plant
Ensures performance tracking of suppliers on the quality and delivery parameters
Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders
Provide the status of various orders to the Central Planning team and Product Groups
Assist in preparing the Procurement MIS and other reports
Ensure compliance of procurement processes such as Procurement planning, PR to Pay process including GRN and Bill booking on time.
Follow up with Finance team if required, to get the Payment done to suppliers
