Description

Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Specialist position:

Ensure timely, accurate execution of accounting tasks to meet organizational standards:
Handle day-to-day accounting
Conduct monthly/quarterly/annual closing activities
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations using Black Line application
Analyze monthly fluxes in trial balances, providing explanations for significant fluctuations
Manage quarterly/year-end schedules
Prepare financial statements per Indian GAAP, including statutory audit schedules
Maintain effective internal controls, supporting external and internal audits
Assist tax team in preparing various tax reports and audits
Contribute to developing, testing, and implementing process automation, including macros and Robotics Process Automation (RPA)
Drive process improvements to enhance productivity.

Profile

Successful candidate for the Accounting Specialist position should have:

5 years of Post Qualification Experience (Post - CA)
B.Com.
Chartered Accountant Experience
Financial Accounting with IGAAP/USGAAP (6-7 years)
Corporate / public accounting (2-3 years)
Western multinational (2-3 years) Competencies
Highly proficient financial accountant following IGAAP and US GAAP
Results driven. Highly motivated with strong aspirations to achieve and develop.
Process-oriented mindset.
Interest in broad array of finance disciplines.
Detailed and analytical thinker.
Proficient in SAP finance - financial accounting module - (ECC - FICO)
Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel)
Good communication skills.
Highly collaborative. Able to work across levels & roles.
Fluent in English (written and verbal).
