The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in a similar field, with a strong background in collections law, litigation, and regulatory Manage all legal aspects of the collections process, including but not limited to demand letters, negotiations, settlements, and litigation.

• Provide legal guidance and support to internal collections teams, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Review and draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and court filings.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings related to collections matters, including court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize collections processes and minimize legal risks.
• Collaborate with external legal counsel and other stakeholders to resolve complex collections issues.
• Stay informed about changes in collections law and regulations, and ensure company policies and procedures remain compliant.
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on legal matters related to collections.
• Must possess knowledge of negotiable instrument act, civil suit, arbitration, section 62 of the conciliation act, lok adalat, EOW, Bachelor's degree in Law from an accredited institution; advanced degree (LLM) preferred.

• Excellent knowledge of collections laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and other relevant statutes.
• Proven track record of successfully managing collections processes and legal proceedings.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
