- Handling day-to-day and contracting for an NBFC or Bank in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide array of commercial contracts, including Facility Agreements, Term Loan Agreements, T&Cs and working capital loans.
- Thorough and nuanced review of contract documents to undertake risk identification and propose commercially viable mitigations.
- Ability to strategizing with business teams on new product (lending) portfolio.
- Keeping a regular tab on RBI guidelines and other important government mandates related to NBFC and Banking and Financial institution sector.
- Experience in dealing with collection agencies, 3PL vendors and collection suits from a lender's perspective.
- Manage relationships and processes with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's/PG degree in law from a premium law college with 4 to 6 years of experience.
- Combination of in-house experience with core Lending organisations, Bank or an NBFC.
- Strong subject matter knowledge and foundation in commercial law and contract Impeccable integrity - ethical and honest in all respects.
- Self-starter having attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Be able to work independently and manage multiple priorities and projects with firm deadlines.
- Ability to keep composure under pressure.
