Major work responsibility:

  • Ensure the hostellers are having their food properly as per the scheduled timings. Find out the reason for the wastage of food by the inmates, and to avoid wastage, provide them food according to their needs.
  • Ensure that the hostellers having any problems with regard to their health are reported and taken care of. According to the nature of the sickness, provide the diet prescribed by the physician.
  • Ensure that the optimum use of electricity and water is provided to the inmates.
  • Ensure that safety and security are monitored in the hostel when the hostellers are in and out.
  • Ensure that the water tanks are cleaned by the sweeper in the last week of every month and the salt deposit on the floor is cleaned by the inmates.
  • Ensure the hostellers are there in the hostel by taking attendance every night before dinner.
  • Maintain a register for the hostellers to record their official or unofficial movements (outgoing register).
  • Ensure that visitors are coming on the visitor's day and allowed to meet their wards in the specific time mentioned (for the confirmed MLOP, it is from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and for the trainees, it is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
  • Ensure that there are separate registers for recording the details of the inmate's camp, shopping, resignation, visitors, and leave. Ensure that it is maintained and updated.
  • Ensure attendance is taken every day by the roomincharge employee.

Salary:
₹12, ₹15,000.00 per month

Education:


  • Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (preferred)

Experience:
