Job Title:
QA Manual Tester

Experience Level: 6 months to 1 year

Responsibilities:

Test Planning:

Collaborate with the development team and business stakeholders to understand project requirements and functional specifications.
Assist in the creation of test plans and test cases based on project documentation.
Participate in test strategy discussions and provide inputs on testing scope and priorities.

Test Execution:

Execute manual test cases based on project requirements and acceptance criteria.
Identify, document, and report defects in a clear and concise manner using designated bugtracking tools.
Perform regression testing to ensure that defects are resolved and new features do not introduce new issues.
Validate fixes and ensure that defects are properly closed.

Functional and Non-Functional Testing:

Conduct thorough functional testing to ensure that the software meets specified requirements.
Perform exploratory testing to identify usability, performance, and user experience issues.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to verify compatibility, security, and performance aspects of the software.

Test Documentation:

Maintain detailed and organized documentation of test cases, test results, and defects.
Provide regular updates on testing progress to the QA lead or manager.
Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Communication and Collaboration:

Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of quality goals.
Participate in status meetings, defect review meetings, and other projectrelated discussions.

Continuous Learning:

Stay uptodate with the latest testing trends, methodologies, and tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
6 months to 1 year of handson experience in manual software testing.
Familiarity with software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
Basic understanding of testing tools and bug tracking systems.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering highquality results.
