As a Sales Trader

  • Base Metals and Ferro Alloys, your primary responsibility will be to drive growth and revenue for our group within the Metal sector in India and globally. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our market presence in the ferro alloys industries. This role requires a deep understanding of these materials, market trends, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:


1.


Business Strategy Development:


Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for Base Metals and Ferro Alloys divisions, aligning them with the company's overall goals and objectives.

Define clear goals, targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for both segments.


2.


New Business Development:

Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, including new markets, clients, and products within the metal industries.
Cultivate and nurture relationships with key industry players, potential clients, and partners.


3.


Sales and Revenue Growth:

Independently manage physical product portfolio.
Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets for Base Metals and Ferro Alloys businesses.
Negotiate and close deals with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.


4.


Supplier Relations:


  • Collaborate with suppliers across the world for procurement at the best rates to enhance existing products or develop new/current Base Metals and Ferro Alloys products that meet market demands.
Develop and strengthen relations with suppliers. Ensure that product offerings remain competitive and aligned with customer needs.


5.


Marketing and Promotion:

Work closely with the sales team to create marketing campaigns and materials that effectively promote business.
Attend industry conferences and events to represent the company and build brand awareness.

Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and challenges in the markets and develop mitigation strategies.
Stay informed about regulatory changes and compliance requirements.


7.


Reporting and Analysis:

Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities for both segments.
Analyze data to provide insights and make data-driven decisions.


8.


Market Analysis:


  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape in the Base Metals and Ferro Alloys sector.
Analyze market data to develop insights that inform business strategies and decisions.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Must have a fulltime MBA in Marketing
  • Proven experience in business development within Base Metals and Ferro Alloys industries or closely related sectors.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strategic thinking and problemsolving abilities.
  • Resultsdriven with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Minimum working experience of 3 to 5 years.
  • Criteria Age should be between 25 to 35 years.
