Deputy General Manager - Marketing


Position Overview:


As the Deputy General Manager (DGM) Marketing, you will be responsible for leading and executing the marketing strategies of the auto forging company in Faridabad.

Your role will involve developing and implementing marketing plans, overseeing promotional activities, and driving brand awareness and customer engagement.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage marketing budgets, and monitor market trends to ensure the company's marketing efforts effectively support its growth objectives.


Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, market penetration, and customer acquisition for the forging company.

Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape, and translate insights into actionable marketing initiatives.


Collaborate with product management and sales teams to develop and execute product marketing plans, including positioning, pricing, and promotional activities.


Oversee the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, trade shows, exhibitions, and other promotional events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.


Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, website analytics, and other key metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment (ROI).


Collaborate with the creative team or external agencies to develop marketing collaterals, advertising materials, product literature, and other promotional assets.


Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry associations, and strategic partners to foster business growth and drive collaboration opportunities.

Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and customer preferences to identify emerging opportunities and proactively adjust marketing strategies.

Manage and lead a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, performance management, and professional development opportunities.


Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, product management, and operations, to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with overall business objectives.

Ensure compliance with marketing regulations and industry standards in all marketing activities and communications.

Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing activities, campaign performance, and market trends for senior management and stakeholders.

Continuously assess and implement new marketing tools, technologies, and best practices to enhance marketing efficiency and effectiveness.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree would be an advantage.

Proven experience in a similar marketing leadership role, preferably within the forging industry or related manufacturing sector.


In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices, with a track record of successful marketing campaign planning and execution.

Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and analytics to drive marketing insights and decision-making.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex marketing concepts to diverse audiences.

Experience in managing marketing budgets, monitoring ROI, and optimizing marketing expenditures.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving marketing objectives.

Proactive and results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and staying ahead of market trends.

Knowledge of the forging industry, including market dynamics, customer segments, and competitive landscape, would be desirable.

Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and data analytics platforms would be advantageous.
