    Description

    The Senior Software Engineer, SAP Costing should have experience delivering full lifecycle projects in SAP S/4HANA in the areas of overseeing the development and delivery of SAP solutions in the cost accounting, Inventory management, and product costing areas, and should have good understanding of working in a SOX and GxP environment. This person shall drive work in the areas of SAP Product costing.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Utilize SAP S4 HANA and related tools to provide solutions for product costing, inventory accounting, and operational accounting processes.
    • Develop and deliver high-quality SAP solutions in the cost accounting, inventory management, and product costing domains.
    • Translate business requirements into effective SAP S4 HANA system solutions and related bolt-ons.
    • Participate in business process evaluation and improvement activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and high-quality deliverables.
    • Manage the transition of all project work and provide oversight to project teams and third-party/partner development organizations.
    • Ensure the provision of high-quality SAP application services to BMS users.
    • Collaborate with third-party suppliers, providing guidance and approval for their work in SAP S4 and related applications.
    • Coordinate the development and conversion of data interfaces via external or third-party sources.
    • Manage stakeholder communications for projects and foster positive working relationships with all parties involved.
    • Deal with ambiguity in problem definition and organizational relationships, working effectively in a matrix organization.
    • Organize resources and establish priorities to meet project objectives efficiently.
    • Identify and leverage synergies with other projects and processes to drive continuous improvement.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Strong working knowledge of SAP S4 HANA Cost and Controlling functionality.
    • At least 8 years of experience implementing SAP CO module in a GxP environment in Pharma Industry.
    • Proven experience managing projects or components of large projects.
    • Ability to coordinate development and data conversion with external or third-party stakeholders.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deal with ambiguity.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and across virtual teams.
    • Familiarity with SAP S4 HANA FI, Manufacturing, IM, and PP modules is a plus.
    • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry dynamics and regulatory compliance is desirable.
    • Ability to produce clear and effective written presentations and documentation.
