About this opportunity:

This role will provide in-depth, expert level support and advise the Regional EP /Proposal team in IP networks domain.

Practitioner has as to work closely with CU/regional counterparts in customer e2e as well node level Solution Designing, High Level Design/ Low Level Design based on the requirements and Installation, Integration, configuration of router/switches/firewall/load-balancers.


Resource will be encouraged to initiate and participate in knowledge-sharing activities, as well as coaching and mentoring others in team to build their competence.


What you will do:


  • Be able to work on preparation of HLD / DLD for the IP Network as per the Customer solutions.
  • Work on preparation of LLD / MOPs for the assignment. Be able to perform installation and integration and upgrade of networking elements in telco environment
  • Should be willing to travel as per the business requirements.
  • Should possess good consultation skills and should drive solutions at customer places.
  • Designing solution for customers as well as present the solution in front of customer.
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams, project managers and service providers to define strategy to deliver overall solution according to the specifications.
  • Plan the change in Nonlive/live network as per project requirement and also to be able to handle the integration work
  • Preparation of HLD, LLD, Network diagrams, verification of Configuration scripts, MOP and acceptance test document.
  • Shall be able to handle and support the integration work by following all processes.
  • Expertise to support the project by executing integration/migrations on live network activities.
  • Must have exposure for handing over the nodes/network to customer by driving/preparing all acceptance testing documents.
  • Experience to perform post project activities to enhance and improve the customer network.

You will bring:


  • Knowledge of ARP, STP, ISIS, OSPF, BGP and MPLS protocol
  • Good understanding on JUNOS, SEOS, Cisco IOS and EXOS.
  • Demonstrate high skills in Telecom Products & Technologies, IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, EPC, IP BB & Core technologies.
  • Drive Lead Generation / Add on Sales and business opportunities during the entire process in order to contribute to increased sales volumes.
  • Assist/Support during contract/commercial negotiations, in the Services Scoping of the Integration Service Delivery.
  • Contribute in EKB and Ericsson business process and motivate team to do so.
  • Expertise in MPBN, Indepth knowledge of 2G,3G & LTE call flows
  • Formulate test plans and use cases as per configuration and network features bought by customer.
  • Preparation as well as verification for Migration plans as well supporting customer during cutoff from existing network to new network.
  • EndtoEnd work experience of understanding solution design, verification & deployment.
  • Providing technical solutions / suggestions to problems reported.
  • Ability to quickly engage in projects, work in fastpaced environment and have ability to multitask.
  • Experience with multiple Network technologies (TDM, IP, MPLS, Ethernet, Wireless).
  • Experienced in Telecom Billing System, IMS and integrations associated with them.
  • Conducts research aimed at isolating, analyzing and resolving error
  • Evaluates and updates older networks as required in accordance with specified plans
  • Router/switch/firewall migration as well as integration experience.
  • Basic knowledge of circuit and packet switching
  • Responsibility for Service Delivery as per Customer Contract and plan.
  • Performs network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
  • Prepares and verify documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts.
  • Evaluates E2E network requirements and shall be capable to makes recommendations.
  • Basic knowledge of Cloud and SDN
  • Supervise customer deployments and proactively, detect and report problems. Address customer support questions and respond with solutions in a timely manner and meeting SLA's.

  • Adheres to standard methodologies in performing health checks, preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance including evaluation/implementation Software Lifecycle Management.

  • Knowledge about ITIL framework. Solid grasp and experience of R&D processes, including lean & agile practices
  • Demonstrable ability to collaborate with multifunctional teams of business, IT and other key partners
  • Strategic approach with an analytical, structured and result oriented approach Coordinates with other teams in problem analysis and resolution as required
