We are looking for a talented DBA/SQL and MySQL developer who can work quickly and efficiently as a member of a talented team of architects and engineers who are transforming a large VMware environment into an automated private cloud.

We are also working on transforming a team of wintel sysadmins into DevOps engineer and you could play a major role in that transformation process

Design and build Infrastructure (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings
Ingrate and help define requirements for new client offerings
Write code and develop build systems and tools to automate all aspects of infrastructure and platform services
Create the design, implementation, and ongoing management of systems that deliver functionality, scalability, performance, and reliability.
Collaborate with development to design in-house monitoring solutions for improving system efficacy.
Adopt, customize and implement best practice DevOps policies and DevOps procedures.
Provide Sr. Management with metrics and other reporting materials for the executive team.
Assist with developing and defining processes, procedures to manage all pre-production, and production environments.
Assist with the transformation of our current team into a team of devops engineer. This could include transform our process and day-to-day activities to match the devops philosophy
Manage and maintain the source / staging / and target databases
Analyzing existing databases and data needs of clients to develop effective systems
Using knowledge of specific programming languages and codes
Following implementation processes for new databases
On-Call rotation is in place
