    Description

    As a Software Developer in JWO Network Infraorg you will help solve a variety of technical challenges. You willplay an active role in translating business and functionalrequirements into concrete deliverables proofs of concept inpartnership with other technology leaders within the team. You willhelp invent new features design develop and deploy highly scalableand reliable distributed services and ensure they remain inoperationally health state. You will work with a variety of corelanguages and technologies including Java Python Go Linux and AWStechnologies.

    You will tackle challenging novelsituations every day and given the size of this initiative youllhave the opportunity to work with multiple technical teams atAmazon in different locations. You should be comfortable with adegree of ambiguity thats higher than most projects and relish theidea of solving problems that frankly havent been solved at scalebefore anywhere.     Basic qualifications

    BS in ComputerScience or related technical field (In lieu of degree 4 years ofrelevant work experience). * 4 years of handson programmingexperience in Java Go Python. * 4 years of experience with OOdesign and common design patterns. * Experience in data structuresalgorithms and complexity analysis. The ability to producebulletproof code that is faulttolerant efficient and maintainable.* Strong examples demonstrating past work experience deliverablesand/or innovation across a broad range of methods.

    Preferred qualifications

    4 years ofexperience in Java or Go or Python * Experiences writing softwareon embedded device and/or performance optimizations * Experiencesworking with AWS services * Understanding of Software DevelopmentLife Cycle (SDLC) and project planning/execution skills includingestimating and scheduling. * Experience optimizing for short termexecution while planning for long term technical capabilities.Ability and willingness to multitask and learn new technologiesquickly.
