Business Capability Expert, you have a broad audience in the business and markets organization with a specific focus on Software Delivery & Service enablement. You will contribute to standardization and scalability of software supply chain, operations, delivery, entitlement, install base management processes, covering specification, development, operations, implementation, management and lifecycle phases.

Business Capability Expert, you have a broad audience in the business and markets organization with a specific focus on Software Delivery & Service enablement. You will contribute to standardization and scalability of software supply chain, operations, delivery, entitlement, install base management processes, covering specification, development, operations, implementation, management and lifecycle phases.


You are responsible for


Driving process design and standardization for software Service & Operations, ensure alignment with the underpinning HealthSuite/AWS/GCS Platform services and infrastructure including relevant process performance metrics & KPI's and compliance requirements and controls, in teamwork with the other BCEs and under the leadership of the Business Process Owner (BPO) for Software Operations & BPO Solution Delivery.


Technical Knowledge and Skills required

  • Deep understanding of ITSM capabilities and ability to map dependencies across various ITSM capabilities.
  • Experience in deploying ITSM capabilities to service SaaS/hybrid/On-Prem product and solutions
  • Strong Process and design thinking.
  • Capturing ITSM needs for business and market, designing, implementing processes and capabilities.
  • Ability to think and design capabilities to deliver transformation roadmap as agreed with Business & leadership team.
  • Good understanding and hands on experience of SNOW platform.
  • Hands on experience in ITSM practices as per ITIL v4 framework,
    certification is must.
  • Performing process gap analyses and proposing best practices as input for the process design.
  • Experience in Azure DevOps to track features, develop user stories, active participation in validation and capability release
  • Collaborating with different stake holders like solution architects, data experts, product owner etc. for feature design and delivery
  • Building and maintaining communities of practice in your respective domain and ensuring that people competencies and capabilities are in place to execute the standard solutions in their process domains and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Establishing an accurate process performance impact tracking & reporting, with reference to internal/external benchmarks and relevant targets.
  • Hosting, provisioning of on premise, microcloud and cloud environments
  • Platform lifecycle management monitoring, security, patch, upgrades, capacity and availability, auto scaling, metering and billing
  • Supply chain management process for Hosting & operations
  • Infrastructure security management system, QMS and external certifications for infra
  • Enablement of contracts, entitlements and refresh SLAs
  • Capturing software service, delivery and market needs, implementing processes and capabilities, updating the Philips Process Excellence Framework standards.
  • Hands on experience in ITSM practices as per ITIL v4 framework.
  • Establishing and leading the Software Service & Operations CoE. The purpose of this CoE is to embed expertise within individual lines of business, establish and share best practices, define harmonized processes and coach and consult the businesses with software operations improvement strategy and harmonization.
  • Performing process gap analyses and proposing best practices as input for the process design.
  • Identifying and collecting software service & operations and delivery requirements for serviceability and DevOps during software development, testing, deployment, configuration, maintenance and lifecycle management.
  • Being a change agent by clarifying the impact of the new ways of working for ITSM & HealthSuite Services.
  • Collaborating with Philips University or other parties who develop the learning curricula for the stakeholders identified.
  • Building and maintaining communities of practice in your respective domain and ensuring that people competencies and capabilities are in place to execute the standard solutions in their process domains and identify opportunities for improvement.
