Position Summary:
Are you passionate about driving sales growth in the research flow cytometry sector? Do you thrive in building relationships and exceeding sales targets? If yes, we have an exciting opportunity for you As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in expanding our presence in the West region by promoting and selling our cutting-edge research Agilent flow cytometry products and services to various biopharma companies and academic institutions.
Reporting to the Sales Manager – Research Flow Cytometry, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales, conducting market analysis, nurturing customer relationships, and providing exceptional service to our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
Drive the promotion and sales of research flow cytometry products and services to biopharma companies, academic institutions, and other potential customers within the assigned territory.
Market Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitors within the research flow cytometry sector.
Utilize gathered insights to refine sales strategies and stay ahead in the market.Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, opinion leaders, and stakeholders in the research flow cytometry field. Provide excellent customer service and address queries and concerns promptly.
Product Demonstrations and Training:
Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers to showcase the features, benefits, and applications of research flow cytometry instruments and reagents.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
Monitor and analyze sales performance and market trends in the assigned territory. Generate accurate sales forecasts and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, technical support, and customer service, to ensure seamless customer experience and successful implementation of sales strategies.
Continuous Learning:
Stay updated with the latest advancements and developments in the research flow cytometry field. Attend conferences, workshops, and training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Education and/or Experience:
MSc/MTech in Biological Sciences/Biotechnology or related field
Minimum 2 years of work experience in sales at Life Sciences vendor companies
Experience in Sales of research flow cytometry equipment
Proficiency in Business Development Strategy Planning
Proven track record in Key Account Identification & New lead generation
Excellent skills in Customer Presentations, Tender Processing, and Competitive Market analysis
