Position Summary


Lead the overall finance function and provide strategic financial advice to the CEO apart from taking key decisions regarding finance function.

This is an extremely vital role that would be responsible for tracking and analysing financial information to ensure that the organization takes decisions that are aligned to its vision.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • As part of the leadership team of the company, build F&A team from scratch and participate in the key strategic decisionmaking process and enhance the quality of decisions by highlighting financial implications of decisions.
  • Uphold the financial health and integrity of the company.
  • Streamline ERP issues (Oracle)
  • Manage Merger, Acquisitions, Demerger, Amalgamation, Fundraising
  • Streamline Systems & Process, SOPs, internal controls.
  • Steward the organization to optimize the financial resources of the organization most effectively.
  • Implement, Manage and Maintain Financial Controls organization wide.
  • Responsibility for all Tax compliances
  • Responsible plant financial management, reporting and product costing.
  • Timely and accurate periodical Management Reporting and analysis.
  • Responsible for an end to end Finance role covering Strategy, Treasury, Planning & Budgeting, Financial control, Accounting & Consolidation and Taxation.
  • Develop Finance and Accounting Processes/ Policies (including Capex) to ensure consistency and compliance. Frame metrics to be reviewed for measurement of business performance.
  • Develop a Taxation framework for the organization.
  • Oversee Plant finance and costing.
  • Prepare template to capture financial information and design the documentation system of accounting policies and procedures
  • Review Financial statements to ensure compliance to company standards for preparation and correctness. Also interpret the financial statements and recommend improvement activities
  • Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory norms of respective regions as well as compliance with guidelines laid down by corporate
  • Own the capital budgeting process and maintain banking relationships
  • Liaise with Government officials, Market regulators etc if and when required.
  • Support capability development in the function through adequate mentorship and training of the team.
  • Oversee the adequateness of department and support through trainings

Requirements:

Qualification - Chartered Accountant

  • Exposure to Financial planning, Financial Control, Taxation and Capital Management
  • Extensive work experience and problem solving around Oracle Financial
  • Product Costing and Cost Management in the Manufacturing Industry
