Description

B.E/B.Tech in Mining Engineering with 15+ years of experience in Coal Mines ( minimum 5 years as 1st class Mines Manager in any coal Mines)

• Looking after complete mining operations & maintaining proper safety standards.
• To produce targeted quantity of coal & OB as per Annual Business Plan.
• To ensure consistent dispatch of quantity & quality of coal through CCPC to power station.
• To ensure that mine end CHP receives consistent coal feeding without interruption.
• Working with Planning deptt for weekly, monthly and annual dig plans mine plans.
• To have operational knowledge of mining equipment.
• In consultation with the Planning team execute the deployment of Shovel & Dump Truck for optimum production.
• Assign roles and responsibilities to all his subordinates and will ensure that the same is been followed as per the statute.
• Ensure effective asset management processes are implemented and adhered to.
• Able to ensure production targets and profit margins are achieved cost effectively and safely on a sustainable basis for the business unit.
• Able to effectively interact with various stakeholders (Safety, Planning, Maintenance, Processing, Contractors, etc.).
• Ensure environmental and social concerns in open pit operations are managed as a strategic focus area.
• Strategic thinking and planning skills are essential
