    Job Title: PS SW Engineer III

    Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement customer specific business requirements for new features, aligned with agreed coding standards and existing object-oriented architecture of the Octane platform, using C++ standard. Development will be using 3rd part libraires, e.g., Boost
  • The job includes maintenance and troubleshooting bugs in existing product.
  • Provide technical guidance new developers in all aspects of current platform development and support.
  • Work with QA team and PM for input for requirements and testing the output.
  • Troubleshoot application problems and design issues.
  • Octane is currently using the ISO C++ 03 standard.
  • Part of the development will be up against Hardware Protocols, and will require Hardware (Pin Pad/Printer/Scanner etc.)

    • Qualifications

    Must Have

  • Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information System or related technical degree
  • At least 4 years of progressively responsible Server/Client programming experience
  • At least 4 years of C++ programming experience
  • Working experience with multithreads
  • Experience with application troubleshooting with the help of logs, memory traces/dumps.
  • Experience with design patterns & SOLID principles
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Strong coaching skills
  • Analyze, design and implement software mechanisms to improve code stability, performance, and re-usability.
  • Experience with SQL Server/SQL
  • Experience with POS systems.
  • Willing to travel to Denmark for 4-6 month

    • Preferred/Good to Have

  • Knowledge of Fuel POS systems
  • Hands on experience with Postman
  • Hands on experience with refactoring
