Position Senior SAP BODS lead Job Category Information Technology

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the functional and integration aspects of an integrated solution for SAP BODS.Senior Lead will be responsible to create blueprint document, functional specifications, assist in writing test plans, test scripts, coordinate defect resolution, functional, integration, and UAT testing in the assigned area.

The Senior Lead will work closely with ERP BODS Technical Architects and Business SMEs to ensure the business requirements are correctly mapped to functional specs, various integrations followed the appropriate technology and properly implemented.

Duties Experience in data services for minimum of 6 8 years

Implementation knowledge throughout the SDLC life cycle

Experience with design and build of BODS jobs

Database knowledge with SQL query execution

SAP knowledge is a must

Expertise in Unix scripting

Must have Change management knowledge on BODS

Basics on Scheduler

Must have BODS, SQL, SAP migration experience Will be supporting the SAP deployment lead in ETL activities using BODS

Experience with writing queries and understanding of SAP tables

Building, testing, executing and managing data migration tools such as SAP Data Services solutions.

Must possess working functional knowledge of master objects

Preload and post load validation of migration results, handle dropouts and advise on data cleansing requirements.

Perform migration dress rehearsals, migration cutover tasks and post go-live support.

Providing advisory services to the business to understand their data management issues and advising on appropriate data management strategies and techniques.

Strong experience in the design and implementation of SAP's ETL solutions such as SAP Data Services

Must be good with creating complex queries, views and stored procedures required for data migration

Create Technical Specification documents by utilizing Data migration experience and computer program knowledge which will be used in creation of Data services Jobs.

Support Data Cleansing activities as required using Data Services and SQL tools

Must have good knowledge on profiling data and provide insights from the profiled data

Experience in data analysis and reconciliation and able to prove correctness and completeness of migration task

Education

Bachelors Degree

Experience Required:
Senior SAP BODS lead with a minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience

Experience of at least 2 implementations.

Experience in gathering business requirements, providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs, writing detail functional specifications.

In depth understanding of key processes and functionality.
